Privacy policy
This policy describes what BFT LLC collects when you visit bft.llc or write to us, and what we do with it. BFT LLC is a Massachusetts limited liability company.
Products have their own policies
This policy covers the bft.llc website and our correspondence with you. Each product we publish has a privacy policy of its own that governs that product: ScaleScience, PodiumOracle, RegBot and PowerToggle. Where a product policy and this one differ, the product policy applies to that product.
What this site collects
bft.llc has no accounts, forms or purchases. Visiting it involves two kinds of data:
- Server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare processes this under its own privacy policy.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data, including an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google processes this under its privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies for this site.
If you write to support@bft.llc, we keep your message and our reply for as long as needed to help you and to keep a record of the correspondence. We use the contents only to respond to you.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not share personal information with third parties except the service providers named above, or where the law requires it.
- We do not use the data from this site for advertising.
- This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. The only personal information we hold directly is email correspondence; to exercise any of these rights, write to support@bft.llc and we will respond within 30 days. Requests about analytics data should be directed to Google using the opt-out above, since we cannot identify you within it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new effective date. Changes that materially reduce your rights will be noted at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
