Cite the source, every time
A regulation answer is only as good as where it came from. RegBot shows the page it read, so the angler can verify the rule directly instead of trusting a chatbot.
iOS, in development
An AI assistant for fishing regulations that reads official sources and shows its work. In development, to be released on iOS.
Answer the question every angler has before a trip, what are the rules for this species, in this place, today, from official sources rather than forum hearsay, and say how confident the answer is.
A regulation answer is only as good as where it came from. RegBot shows the page it read, so the angler can verify the rule directly instead of trusting a chatbot.
Extraction from a messy regulations page is not always certain. Rather than hide that, every result carries a confidence score, and the app says plainly that it is an informational tool and the agency has the final word.
Regulations change mid-season and vary by waterway. A stored database would be wrong within weeks, so RegBot searches for the current official page at the time of the question.
Size and bag limits are buried in tables, footnotes and PDFs that differ by state. RegBot searches for the most relevant official pages, reads their content, and uses an AI model constrained to that content to pull out the specific rules, with the citation attached.
A saved regulation is useful only if it is still true. Saved items sync through iCloud and can be re-checked against the source with one tap, so a rule from last season does not quietly become this season's mistake.
RegBot is a work in progress, built for iOS and to be released on the App Store. It is the product behind our AI-feature work for clients: grounded in real sources, with citations and honest uncertainty built in.
